Hi my name is Trippy and I have been hiv poz for 17 years. Im not saying its been easy but with todays medicines you can live with this illness for a long time. As far as your boyfriend thinking you tryed to infect him , thats his problem and you now need to focus on yourself and your mental, physical health. There are all kinds of sites that explain about the illness and the meds.. one good one is called www.thebody.com and it has answers to alot of questions. I know exactly how you feel, I just found out in October that I was posittive and according to numbers for quite sometime. I have gone back to four years of partners not to find out who gave it to me but so they could get tested as well I never would want to be the one that passed on this virus to kill someone definitly not intenionanly. Your boyfriend is angry and thats good it means he has real feelings for you I hope he has been tested and then retested at 3 and 6 months. But as I have found out there are people living very long full lives with very little interruption to there daily schedules. My doctor has a saying and I wish I took it seriously before "NO GLOVE-NO LOVE" and then you still can have a healthy sexual relationship also. Life can and should continue. This is just a speed bump. At somepoint it will get better I just don't know when. Each one of us has and will have a reason to really fight what were going through to make a differance in the world. We didn't ask for it was simply were thrust upon us by someone who didn't know they were positive. And maybe that is are purpose to make sure people know that just cause were safe doesn't mean everyone is and until they no for sure they must wear the raincoat. Be condsiderate of your boyfreind eventually he will either deal with it or not but you can always find a freind on here who will be there for you.
