how many guys might be sitting arround waiting to be asked, simply because they dont know how to initiate that kind of conversation?

i understand it's not the same to hear the words, when we have to prompt the guy to speak at all. we want to know its comeing from the heart, and not just as a simple reply to having said something.

 but how well is it working to simply wait, while hoping someday he will read your mind and supply you with what you need.

asking doesnt pin the person in the corner, especially if you make sure to TELL THEM, that you understand they might 'feel' cornered, that you dont need a reply right this instant, and perhaps may rather NOT have an immediate response, but that you have these things on your mind and eventually you will want to have a discussion about where you stand with one another, the direction depth and meaning of the relationship.

this gives him time to go off and think on his own, etc. no pressure. you erase the pressure by saying "look, no pressure! time comes, patience is golden, etc, but these things are on your mind and eventually will need to be discussed, in fairness to both of you)

 this is alot less threatening for a guy than having his gal come up to him point blank, after months of suffering in silence and a sense of doubt and worse, and then demanding that he reveal what he feels.

how do i get him to say he WANTS me to come with him to whatever functions without tellin him to say so

 

without telling him to say so.... you could simply ASK. men are not nearly as threatened by someone asking how we feel, as we are being TOLD to reveal our feelings.

its a vulnerable position to be in, to ask someone how they feel, especially if we think we already know the answer, or suspect the answer wont come in the form we seek. when we're ready hear the answer, one way or the other, or in some way we didnt expect, (that can be good or bad)... then we always have the POWER to simply... ask.

after all, you ARE half the relationship, yes?

If hes a man ,you cant .heard a story bout a man who told his wife of 50yrs he loved her only one time (the day he proposed)He said he would tell her if he ever changed his mind,(he didnt)Men are from Mars ,Women are from Venus.
