daughter
off
at
her
dads
today
ugg.They\'re
going
to
a
family
party.
She
asked
why
no
one
on
his
side
of
the
family
knows
my
status.
We
were
together
for
nine
years
but
he
never
wanted
to
disclose
my
status
to
his
family.He
was
affraid
of
what
their
reaction
would
be.
When
she
asked
me
this
today
i
said
"we\'ll
talk
about
it
with
your
dad".
His
response
to
her
was
since
I
am
not
really
in
their
life
(his
family)
there
really
isnt
a
need
for
them
to
know.
She
didnt
accept
this,
as
she
still
sees
all
of
us
as
still
being
family.
I
tried
to
explain
to
him
that
she
is
affected
by
my
status
and
it
wieghs
heavy
on
her
to
keep
a
secret
from
family.
He
just
said
he
would
have
to
think
about
this
and
didnt
want
to
talk
about
it
anymore.

pisses
me

My
best
friend
says
its
not
up
to
him
who
she
tells,
and
if
she
wants
to
tell
them
she
should
be
able
to.
I
dont
think
they
would
react
badly.
