Special education teacher consultant in central WI. Recently approved for disability, which is a wonderful opportunity to focus primarily on my health and wellness, while still being able to volunteer my time with creative, life-giving projects in many different areas. Have worked for many years teaching children with significant social, emotional and behavioral challenges. They have taught me much about life and of living with resilience. My father also taught me how to survive the unsurvivable and to do so with grace and joy in the heart. Am currently in transition...exciting, tentative, rejuvenating, a wee bit scary...but I am confident all will be well. Seems that everything I need has come to me, and for that I am grateful. Have learned to let go and be at peace with what I have and who I am. And that is enough.
We have everything we need...already and always.

I like spontaneity, freedom, quick wit, dark chocolate, animals, the smell of cedar and sweetgrass, the feel of sunshine on my face, a hearty laugh, bear hugs, creativity, the sound of moving water, pizza, beautiful photography, silence, blues, massage, Native American sweat lodges, exploring new places and foods, 1960's cartoons, genuine people who are at peace with themselves and the world, simplicity, the sound of wind chimes, playing in water/sand/clay, the color blue, things made by hand, people who are childlike and playful.

I dislike noise, chaos, manipulation, deception, crowds, Christmas shopping, cream-style corn, or when people get their nighty in a knot over unimportant matters.

I enjoy almost any kind of music except country western drinkin'-cheatin' songs (play them backwards you get all your stuff back?) or accordian music (knee cymbols, however, are permitted and highly encouraged). Oh, and bagpipes...punt the bagpipes.
