So for the next 10 yrs she basically took her medication when she felt like taking it. And i believe that's the only reason i got her for that long. I have not started taking meds as yet,and has been going over and over on the right thing to do . My hiv status has not been disclosed to anyone as yet . Scared of having to hurt them. So confused .but what u say may be the answer I needed . Thanks

It probably is very hard for you to understand..........especially since you are just seeing from the point that if you take the pills they make you better. But for some thats not al that come with the pils.........so do alot of side effects.Don't get me wrong........I take mine.......and I believe everyone should give their meds the chance, but sometimes it is just like it is with any other disease.........take cancer and chemo for example..............alot of people choose to just take their chances with the disease other than being sick from all the other stuff they are having to put into their bodies. Again I completey believe in taking my meds.......never miss a dose..........but I can understand why some people may choose not to do so.
