Well my grandson went home this evening.......with much protesting lol He would live with grandma if he could. But we got to spend three very wonderful days together.....playing outside, playing games, coloring, ticke fests, you name it lol I always miss him so much when he does leave but alas it does have to happen especialy now that he is in school.

I understand your heartache. I once had to peel one granddaughter off my car hood so I could go home. She was in school then and wanted to go home with me or for me to stay. She's now going to be 14 on New Year's Eve and almost over Grandma. Lol. Luckily for me she has a sister that just turned one in September so I have another baby to adore and spoil as I have her 3 sisters. Unfortunately they grow up way too fast and we have to cherish the short years we have with them all. Enjoy your little guy and keep in contact by phone, face time, or cards. Mine used to type "chicken scratch" on the computer before we all had the cam option. She felt we were talking when her mom or sister read my words to her and she typed her jumble back. ;) They bring such joy and break your heart when they leave or grow up.
